After law school, Zac spent nearly seven years in the Marine Corps as a Marine Judge Advocate, primarily serving as a criminal prosecutor. During this period, he fervently pursued justice for sexual assault victims, handling the most serious offenses and maintaining justice within the armed forces. Zac successfully brought over 130 assigned criminal cases to resolution and left the Marine Corps as a Captain with an honorable discharge.
Following his military service, Zac returned to Virginia and worked for over four years as a civil litigation trial attorney for the City of Richmond. In this role, he defended the City against personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. This defense experience provided Zac with valuable insights into how insurance adjusters evaluate personal injury claims and how defense attorneys handle such cases. He is adept at quickly assessing cases and identifying potential weaknesses in a defendant’s position.
